This is a place built for convenience, not tourism. Safety is generally quite good in New Cumberland. The side streets are quiet and peopled by families creating a pleasant environment for guests. Although unassuming, the area is steeped in local history. A short jaunt across the bridge finds you at the Pennsylvania State Capitol complex, making the hotel a great base from which to explore Pennsylvania government.
